The East Cleveland Fire Department responded early Saturday morning to a report of smoke at the 6-acre Acro dump site on Noble Road.  Fire crews from South Euclid, Euclid, Cleveland Heights, and Beachwood also responded.  While there were concerns about air quality, EPA officials on-scene stressed the air was safe. The Lakewood Fire and Police Departments responded to a report of an active fire with people trapped at an apartment on Clifton Blvd.  Upon arrival, crews determined no one was trapped and there was only light smoke showing from a small oven fire.
